Twitter Hatches a New Bird

June 13, 2012 / Marjoram

Twitter recently dropped their well known lowercase “t” and updated their bird icon of six years. The new, more simplyfied look is based on three overlapping circles, referencing the themes of connection and intersection generated by social networks.

The new design definitely has a more modern feel to it and I do prefer the new angles and the direction the bird is flying. But what about that famous comb over from the old rockabilly bird? I think it’s a great update – what do you think?
